Usefull Tips for Your Important Document

imageID card, certificates, passport are a few samples of important documents. Getting lost of this document would cost much effort to get the replacement.

What an annoying situation if you need that document when you've been relizing that the document has been lost. That's why I always make a copy of each important document and save it in one of my private email at the internet. Before I save it in my account, I always ensure the security aspect by encrypting it using an encription tool. You can use winzip or winrar password feature as well. Don't forget to save your encription tool in your email account. It will be used to decrypt your important document.

These tips would usefull whilw your passport was lost in a trip in other country. You just need to find the nearest internet facility and download your copy of passport from your email account. After that, you should report your passport to Indonesian embassy in that country. Hence, you don't need to be panic if your documents get lost.

Fujitsu U1010

When I saw this UMPC for the first time, it made me shocked for a few minutes. U1010 had filled my browser tabs with many articles about its review.

Small, light, compact, fully loaded by standard notebook facility, armed with an HSDPA modem, great passive touch screen, and external battery also provided in the package have made many people bowing their head. An appropriate word to describe this UMPC is fabulous.

When I asked its price, it’s shocked me for the second time. What a high offering just for a 5.6” gadget. I bought it, anyway. This UMPC has made me scream when I looked back to my bank account. (lol) However, I should utilize it to earn back my investment. Its price took my money I’ve saved for 2 months living cost in Toronto. Arggghhh…

This blog was written using my U1010 and my lovely Windows Live Writer. Obviously, I can utilize it for blogging. Huahahaha…

CVE

ISDN, H.323, H.320, T.120, attenuation, T1, E1, bla... bla... there are so many weird-word should be attached in my brain. On January I'm going to take my CVE (phew... I've postponed the exam for 5 months).

As long as I know, it's only Polycom which provide a certification for video conference (the theory). They have compiled many good topics for people who want to learn about video conference.

If you wanna take a CVE exam certification you should prepare your self about these topics:

  1. Audio Technologies
  2. Video Technologies
  3. ITU-T Conferencing Standards
  4. Network for Visual Telephony, H.300 Series
  5. H.323 Packet Based Multimedia Visual Telephony

You should browse at the internet about other people who had taken CVE. There are many tips about how to learn the topics, how to understand the questions, and so forth.

The exam is dominated by network questions. You should prepare more in network question! It will make you create many points in answering the questions.

at a junction

They are between 7 to 15 years old. They sing at junction with a cheap ukulele, try to beg our sympathy just for a small of money to buy some cheap food. They are still young. They face violence at street without option to be chosen and also many of them can’t pay for school. They just know how to survive from the hard life of street.

Often we see them at the junction. Their presence become common and sometimes many people feel disturbed by their presence. Regrettably, many people don’t care to them. Many people don’t care how they sleep tonight, what they eat every day, what they do if they got a cold or a fever, what they do if they are sad, what they do if they feel lonely, what they feel if nobody don’t care to them. In the other places, there are many kids in the same age with them play happily at their school and never afraid what will they eat for their dinner. What are the differences of them? Why they have different condition?

If nobody cares about their presence, they will be shaped by negative influence of street life. They don’t know about education and knowledge. They don’t know how to motivate their self to be success. They don’t know how to change their life to be something. They are young generation and the future of the country is determined by its young generation.

Obviously, God also loves them. There are a community oimagef volunteer who spent their time, fund, and attention to help these kids. This community gives these kids a good education by coordinating many small study groups at several areas in Jakarta to teach them about reading, writing, and counting. They try to be their friend. The volunteers try to make a good relationship and motivate them to feel a better life. They call their community as “Sahabat Anak”. For further information you can browse at http://www.sahabatanak.com/SA_English/home_english.htm . The kids need us as their friend. They are precious. They are eager to share to you about the happiness of being loved. Because of love they can smile. Wish you have a lovely life.

installing XP in SATA-enabled notebook

When I bought TravelMate 6292 last month, it made me annoyed with the performance because Vista needs a lot of resources from this machine (this was before I updated the Vista). 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo Processor and 1 Gigs DDR2 were nothing for Vista. Vista has made me spent for additional 3 Gigs DDR2 for better performance. Travelmate 6292 was bundled with Vista Business Edition. It is annoying for XP lovers who want to install XP in there (you should have the license first before installing). That’s because XP needs Sata Driver to be installed in Travelmate 6292 before XP installation. The problem is it needs floppy drive to install Sata Driver. Unfortunately, floppy drive age has passed away. 6292 doesn’t have floppy drive. After a lot of browsed pages, tips, and forums, finally I’ve found a great tips about how to install XP in your TravelMate 6292. I can install XP without the floppy drive. I need to slip-streamed the driver to XP installation progress. How to do that? You can try these steps!

1. Thanks to Dino Nuhagic who develop nLite for us to solve “Vista-to-XP Migration”. You can download nLite at http://www.nliteos.com/download.html. Install the nLite!

2. You need to download Sata Driver for TravelMate 6292 (Intel Chipset 965GM). Ask to uncle google for the file! Download and extract to your harddisk!

3. Also you need to copy your XP installation CD to a folder in your harddisk. It will be needed by nLite in creating a new installation CD which merged with Sata Driver.

4. Run your nLite and follow the instructions!

5. Tadaa.. You’ve got a new installation CD with Sata Driver included.

6. You can install your XP in common way.
